LLOYDE SANS
A sans-serif font created by Roberto Aarnio and first released in 2023. Lloyde is a geometric, semi-narrow, clean, clear and robust font with a unique character reminiscent of Futura. Lloyde is varied in its features by supporting multiple Latin alphabet languages and Polish, as well as a dynamic set of multiple letter weights for further support. In total, Lloyde attains 499 glyphs in its gamut. This portfolio uses Lloyde as it’s headline font. The weights used are: Regular 400 and Demi Bold 550.The numerals of Lloyde are noteworthy in their  geometrical appearance. If you would like to try Lloyde out yourself and use it. Geometry is often described as the language through which we understand the structure of space, yet its reach extends far beyond simple shapes and measurements. At its core, geometry attempts to map the relationships between points, lines, surfaces, and volumes, revealing patterns that quietly govern both the natural world and the constructions of human imagination. From the symmetry of a snowflake to the precise layout of a city grid, geometric principles appear as an underlying rhythm that brings order to apparent chaos. What makes geometry particularly fascinating is the way it sits between abstraction and physical reality, forming a bridge between pure logic and lived experience.

Euclidean geometry, with its familiar rules about parallel lines and right angles, forms the foundation many of us first encounter. Its clarity gives us a sense of certainty: the idea that a triangle’s angles always sum to 180 degrees or that the shortest path between two points is a straight line feels intuitively satisfying. Yet as soon as one steps into non-Euclidean spaces, geometry begins to bend, twist, and challenge assumptions. Curved surfaces introduce new rules: on a sphere, lines that appear
straight can eventually meet, and the sum of a triangle’s angles can exceed 180 degrees. These discoveries reveal how geometry is shaped not only by logic but by the nature of the space it inhabits.

Modern geometry continues to evolve, extending into realms that defy visualization. Fractal geometry explores infinitely repeating patterns; projective geometry studies how objects transform when viewed from different perspectives; and differential geometry forms the mathematical backbone of general relativity, describing how mass curves spacetime itself. Despite their complexity, these fields share a common aim: to understand how form, space, and structure interact.

Ultimately, geometry invites us to rethink the world through patterns, connections, and relationships. It reminds us that space is not empty but full of structure waiting to be recognized, interpreted, and reimagined.
